Chair, Math Department

M. Amy Wischum joined the CHAD family in 2006 as a member of the Math department. This is her 20th year of teaching, with experience as a Math or Science teacher in other charter schools, parochial schools and suburban school districts. She is a certified teacher with experience at every grade level from 5th through 12th, as well as with students at risk. She is an advocate of cooperative learning and incorporates those skills in her classroom. She was recently named Chair of the Math Department and teachers 9th grade Pre-Algebra and Algebra I.

When not working at school business, look for her at the Jersey shore, where she spends as much time as she can. After a visit to Greece in the summer of 2006, she is looking forward to a return trip in March of 2009.
