Director of Operations

Mr. Bell came to CHAD in August of 2003. He is originally from Baltimore, Maryland and grew up in Abington Township, a suburban area of Philadelphia. He received his teaching degree from Shippensburg University.Mr. Bell taught in Harrisburg before moving back to the Philadelphia area. In 1997 Mr. Bell became an administrator of a private alternative high school in Northeast Philadelphia which specializes in providing educational services to motivationally, emotionally, socially, and psychologically challenged youth.

Before coming to CHAD, Mr. Bell was the Director/Chief Administrator of the Delaware Valley High School. Over his four year administration, DVHS was recognized to be the only private, fully accredited, state licensed, and "approved" Act 48 provider high school in the state of PA. This high school became the region's leading alternative program for at-risk youth.

Mr. Bell is a motivator of young people, whose educational philosophy can be described simply as - "the students are everything". He is a strict enforcer of school rules, but also a compassionate and supportive mentor. He is a sports enthusiast who is more than just an observer. He enjoys travel, good food, and spending time with his family and friends.
