Nurse

Gail joins CHAD from the School District of Philadelphia where she had the privilege of working with the students of an alternative high school for fifteen years. This is her second school year at CHAD. She attended Frankford Hospital School of Nursing and later earned a bachelor’s degree from LaSalle University and a master’s degree from Widener University. Following graduation from nursing school she practiced as a pediatric nurse in a community hospital setting. Shortly after, Gail was invited to become a faculty member at her alma mater, where she taught Pediatric Nursing. It was at that time that she began a long affiliation with The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in various roles.

Gail was born and raised in Philadelphia and has two grown children, Kaitlin and Christopher. In her spare time she enjoys reading, working in her garden, tennis, and exploring new golf courses with family and friends.
