Born and raised in northeast Philadelphia, Ms. Friedman graduated from Temple with a Bachelors of Science in Secondary English Education. This year she will be teaching 12th grade English. Prior to this she worked as a Senior Counselor at Camp Cherokee. She has also spent a great deal of time tutoring students not only in English, but also in Math and French.

In her spare time she likes to read, specifically she enjoys reading short stories. Her favorite author is Stephen Crane. She also enjoys writing poetry, practicing yoga, eating out, watching movies, and spending time with her family. She is very happy to be spending her first year at Chad.
