Jennifer Szeto
Design
Jennifer Szeto is excited to join the C.H.A.D. team as a teacher of ninth grade Design. She comes with several years of experience teaching art, film and
humanities in Northeast Philadelphia and New Hope, Pennsylvania. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Illustration from Syracuse University in New
York and her Masters degree in Art Teaching from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. During and between her studies, Ms. Szeto took classes at Central
Saint Martin’s School of Art & Design in London, England, worked as an assistant at Allan Stone Gallery in NYC and lived in Nanjing, China as a Foreign English
teacher at Nanjing University of Science and Technology. She has also worked locally in Philadelphia with the Clay Studio’s Claymobile project, the Mural Arts
Big Picture program and BuildaBridge International.
Ms. Szeto has worked as a caricature artist, illustrator, cartoonist and portrait painter.
Most recently, her work was exhibited as part of the Multicultural Initiative Program at the Please Touch Museum. Outside of her work, Jennifer enjoys spending
time with family and friends, cooking, music, hiking, and traveling. Ms. Szeto currently resides in Bordentown, New Jersey, where she lives with her husband and
lab puppy.
