History

Ms. Sheldon-Matje was born and raised in South Philadelphia and resides there now with her family. She received a B.A. in history from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master's Degree in Social Studies from Teachers College in New York. Ms. Sheldon-Matje is a big proponent of city life and has lived in New York City, Washington, D.C., and Edinburgh, Scotland when not settled in Philadelphia.

She enjoys teaching American History to CHAD’s eleventh graders and co-sponsoring the Junior Class Activities Committee with Mrs. Cooke.
