Maggie Nerz
English
Maggie Nerz is returning to CHAD for her second year. She taught 10th and 11th grade last year, and will be teaching only 11th grade for the ’07-’08 academic year. She received her B.A. in English from Manhattan College in 1991 and her M.A., also in English, from Villanova University in 1995. She received her M.Ed with certification in secondary English from Temple University in 2007. Prior to coming to CHAD, she worked at Bryn Mawr College’s library and writing center, and at Swarthmore College in their office of development. She taught at Chestnut Hill College and Temple University. At Temple, she also served as an academic advisor in the College of Education. Maggie is enthusiastic about being back at CHAD.
In her spare time she likes to read and write fiction, run, swim, and bike. Outside of those more constructive pursuits, she especially enjoys good coffee, baked goods, and meals with family and friends.
