Mr. Taylor grew up in South Jersey (Morsetown). His family moved to Columbus, Ohio were he attended Saint Charles Preparatory High School for young men for two years. After high school he spent time playing USTA events.

In 1995, he graduated from Grambling State University in Grambling, LA with a Bachelor of Arts in two majors. Political science and public admin. Then he spent time at Ohio State University law school working on his JD.

His hobbies are motorcycles and German Cars. Mr. Taylor's wife is a high school administrator N.J. In his free time, he gives tennis lessons and teaches reading at Camden County College.
