Director of Advising & Counseling

Ms. Zimmerman received her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Penn State, University Park. She then went on to earn her Master of Science in Education for Psychological Services degree from the University of Pennsylvania here in Philadelphia. Her love of the city kept her at Penn to complete her certification for School Counseling and move on to gain experience in the city's high schools.

Ms. Zimmerman's background, in addition to school counseling, includes positions held in the behavioral healthcare system and as a director at ESF Summer Camps. She enjoys working with all ages of children, but has a true passion for working with high school students.

Ms. Zimmerman enjoys hiking, biking and being outdoors during her free time. She also enjoys spending time with her 10 nieces and nephews, family and friends.
