Ms. Shick was born and raised in southern Jersey. She earned a B.A. in English at an all-women’s school, Douglass College, and earned her teaching certificate and M.A. in English at Southern Connecticut State University. She has also taught middle school and college.
This is Ms. Shick’s eleventh year at CHAD. She has taught ninth, tenth and twelfth grade English. She enjoys working with students and getting to know them and their families. Her interests include watching films, reading and learning things, and travelling to and exploring new places. She has two small children who are the love of her life.
