Jennifer Baker

Design

Jennifer Baker holds a BFA from Tyler School of Art, Temple University, and an MAT from The University of the Arts. This is Jennifer’s seventh year at CHAD. Jennifer teaches design and works with Ethan Bell, Director of Admissions, in enrollment, communications, and external affairs.

Jennifer’s professional experiences include over seventeen years of freelance fashion experience in film and television along with project management in interactive exhibition space design. Jennifer believes that design education is grounded by the act of problem solving, supported by the elements of art, and illuminated by the principles of design. Jennifer and her colleagues at CHAD work across disciplines to make the design process the vehicle that structures and transforms student inquiries into creative solutions. Ms. Baker has spoken about the design process and design education to groups at The Yale School of Management, The Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, The Franklin Institute, The ASCA national conference, The Multi-Cultural Resource Center of Philadelphia Area Independent Schools, University of The Arts, and at Millersville University, for the Institute for Critical Thinking and Creativity.
