Julie Drumm

Spanish

Mrs. Drumm graduated Magna Cum Laude from Alma College in 2005, with a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and History. While attending Alma College she was a member of Epsilon Sigma Epsilon (Educational Honor Society), Sigma Delta Pi (Spanish Honor Society), and the Alma College Education Club. She also spent six months studying at schools in both Ecuador and Peru, where she received honors in Spanish grammar, ancient civilizations, and cultural studies.

The 2009-2010 school year will be Mrs. Drumm’s second year at CHAD. She adores teaching Spanish and can’t wait to introduce this beautiful language to the 12th grade class. She is excited about working with such amazing students, parents, and staff at CHAD and is anticipating a wonderful school year!

In her free time Mrs. Drumm enjoys hiking through Fairmount Park with her husband, Dr. Joshua Drumm, and two dogs, Baby and Caesar. She also enjoys reading Jane Austen with a cup of hot tea.
