I am an Industrial Designer by training and have taught at CHAD since 2011.I graduated in 1994 from Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication in London.I have a BA in Furniture and Related Product Design. For about ten years I ran a company designing and making my own line of furniture. I moved to the US from the UK in 2007.
I taught in the Industrial Design Department of Uarts between 2008-09. At CHAD I have set an Industrial Design course where the student’s design products,furniture and lighting. I enter student work in the annual CSI Lighting Competition and have run an after school club to design an educational cart for the Barnes Foundation.I have recently become a member of NextFab which is an innovation center for product design.
My plan for the future is to prototype and make student work using Nextfab’s state of the art machines and equipment.
